HONOR teased the arrival of the HONOR 200 series earlier this month and now it’s time to actually launch those devices. The series includes the HONOR 200 and 200 Pro, which will be the company’s upper-midrange devices for the country. Now, both devices have been spotted on India’s BIS certification. The launch is expected to be next month, i.e., July 2024.

HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro spotted on BIS

The HONOR 200 Pro was spotted yesterday on BIS certification, signaling an imminent launch (July 2024). It has been listed under the model number ELP-NX9. HONOR has already started teasing the Honor 200 series, addressing common issues like performance drops after updates, ads in the UI, and bloatware. So, we can safely assume that the HONOR 200 series will be free of any ads or bloatware in the UI.

The HONOR 200 has also received BIS certification, with a tentative launch in July. The model number for this device is ELI-NX9, and it was listed on BIS on July 25, 2024. The HONOR 200 will be a slightly trimmed down version of the HONOR 200 Pro but a major upgrade over the HONOR 90 that the company currently sells in the country.

Notably, both devices will be manufactured in China. This information comes from the BIS listing itself, so perhaps the first few batches of the devices will be imported to India from China. HONOR could start its manufacturing soon but there’s not much information on it. Here are the specs of the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro:
