HMD Crest Series Arriving in India on July 25: Launch Confirmed

A few days ago, Finnish smartphone maker HMD announced the Skyline smartphone globally that came with a repairable design and detox mode. The smartphone was tipped to come to India soon, but before that could happen, HMD has confirmed the Crest Series for the country. HMD India which is namely the rebrand of Nokia will launch the Crest series of smartphones on 25th July. The series will include HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max 5G devices.

HMD Crest Series: Details

The HMD Crest series will retail via Amazon and the phones will be made in India. HMD took to microblogging platform X to confirm the launch date. Their post reads, “Save the Date: July 25, 2024 The countdown begins! The HMD Crest smartphones are just around the corner. Don’t miss the big reveal! #HMD #HumanMobileDevices #HMDCrest”.

HMD has teased the smartphone via Amazon which shows a glass back panel, and easy self-repair mode. It also hints at portrait features. HMD has announced Bollywood Actress Sanya Malhotra as the brand ambassador for the Crest Series. Earlier the company partnered with Jimmy Shergill and Indian cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues as well.

HMD Crest Series: Specs

Apart from the Amazon listing, HMD Crest was recently spotted on the Geekbench listing. The listing revealed 8GB RAM and Android 14 OS along with an octa-core processor. Earlier leaks claimed that it will be powered by Unisoc T760 chipset with Mali G57 MC4 GPU.

It will have a glass back panel and offer a self-repairability option.
