After unveiling the Redmi 13C 5G in India, the brand is eyeing the Redmi Note 13 series to take the Indian market in 2024. The Chinese manufacturer mentioned in the Redmi 13C launch event that it was shot on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, surprising many viewers. Now, the company has teased the official launch timeline of the phone in India.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G Launch Timeline

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will launch in India in January 2024. It is the top variant of the Redmi Note 13 lineup, announced earlier this year. Although the teaser doesn’t mention anything about the other models in the lineup, there’s a good chance that Redmi will also launch the vanilla Note 13 and the Note 13 Pro in India. Further, the Chinese brand should launch a 4G version of the Note 13 and Note 13 Pro globally.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Specifications

Meanwhile, we already know about the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ specifications, which include a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset with the Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. The handset could arrive in multiple memory and storage options in India, including 12/256GB and 16/512GB variants. Out of the box, the phone runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

The phone has a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor on the rear panel with optical image stabilization, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera on the phone has a resolution of 16MP. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging. Other features include a stereo speaker, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
