The budget 4K TV market in India has long been a minefield of compromises. You usually get the resolution, but you lose the soul of the experience. With budget TVs, you get the stuttery motion, the storage is literally non-existent, and the software feels like it’s running through mud.

But as we hit the 2026 Republic Day sale cycle, Haier is throwing a wrench into that narrative. The company just launched the H5E Series 4K Google TV on Flipkart, and it includes a specific piece of tech called MEMC that brands like LG and Sony typically don’t offer in TVs below ₹50,000.

If you’ve ever watched a fast-paced cricket match or played a high-octane game on a cheap TV, you’ve seen it: that distracting blur where a ball teleports across the screen instead of flying. Haier is fixing this with Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC). By artificially inserting frames to smooth out movement, the H5E makes 43-inch and 50-inch panels feel significantly more premium than their ₹25,990 starting price suggests.

Most budget manufacturers still ship TVs with 16GB of storage, half of which is taken up by the OS. Haier has made the rare, sensible choice to ship the H5E with 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. It’s a spec that will certainly make a noticeable difference six months from now when your TV isn’t screaming at you to delete Netflix to make room for a system update.

Launching on January 14, 2026, the H5E is clearly positioned as the value benchmark for the Flipkart Republic Day Sale.

Screen SizePrice
43-inch (108cm)₹25,990
50-inch (127cm)₹32,990
55-inch (139cm)₹38,990
65-inch (164cm)₹57,990
