Guide: How to Edit PDFs Online Using Google Drive

Portable Document Format or PDF is a very popular file-sharing format. The format is compatible with all platforms, adjustable to any format, and preserves the content as it was intended to be.

However, there is one shortcoming of the format. Editing a PDF file can be a cumbersome task. You either have to buy the paid version of Adobe Acrobat or convert the PDF file into a word file to edit it. And that can be a lot of trouble.

So if you are looking for a simple and easy method to edit a PDF file on the go, here’s what you can do:

Step 1: Upload your PDF file to Google Drive in order to start the process of editing it. To do that, Click on New> File Upload and browse to the location where the file is saved on your computer.

Step 2: Once you upload the file, go to your Google drive and right click on the Pdf file you just uploaded.

Step 3: From the prompt window, open the file with Google Docs. As you do that the file will be open in a new tab, where you can make the required changes and save the file again in the device as PDF or Word Document or any other file format you prefer.

How To Edit PDF Files Online With Ease:

This is perhaps the simplest way to edit a PDF file, but it requires a Gmail ID and an internet connection. If you are looking for other alternatives you can install the third-party application like PDFelement, PDFsam Basic and PDFescape to edit your file.
