The launch date for the much-anticipated title GTA 6 has been confirmed by parent company Take-Two Interactive. The parent company of Rockstar Games has put a full stop on all the rumors of delay and confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will arrive in Fall 2025. Earlier there were rumors that the game would be pushed to 2026, but all those rumors have been refuted.
The announcement was made in the Q4 earnings call. In an official press release, Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two said that the company’s outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for GTA VI.

Before the announcement, we only knew that the game would arrive in 2025 with no idea about when. Now, the parent company has shared the updated release timeline window along with projections for the impact that GTA 6 will have on its earnings.
Zelnick also claimed that the company is super confident that Rockstar Games will give an unparalleled entertainment experience and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title will keep increasing.

GTA 6 First Trailer
Rockstar announced GTA 6 last year in December. This happened because the first trailer was leaked early so they had to put out the fire by releasing the official trailer earlier than planned. However, this did not have any impact on the hype as it became the most viewed on YouTube in 24 hours.
The trailer introduced fans to the main protagonist Lucia as well as her love interest Jason in this Bonnie Clyde-type story. The story is set in Leonida GTA 6 map leaks give an idea about how large play field is.

While we now have an idea about the release date of GTA 6, trailer two is eagerly anticipated. It is expected to give a sneak peek into some of the title’s mechanics, protagonists in action, and more.
GTA 6 is also confirmed to launch on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 in Fall 2025.
