Grand Theft Auto aka GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated titles by gamers around the globe. A few days ago we reported about the launch timeline of the title. The parent company of Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 6 will launch in Autumn 2025 and hasn’t been pushed to 2026. While the launch date of the title is still a year away, various new developments have surfaced online courtesy of insider reports. GTA 6: Release Date
GTA 6 is all set to go official in the Fall of 2025. Earlier there were reports about it being pushed to 2026 but a week ago Take-Two Interactive, which is the parent company of Rockstar Games announced that there are no delays and GTA 6 will be launched in Fall 2025 as planned. The title will first hit the gaming consoles followed by PCs after a year.
The first trailer for GTA 6 was leaked in December 2023 and has garnered 190 million plus views on YouTube.
GTA 6: Announcement
Rockstar Games, the company that makes GTA 6 released the GTA 6 trailer announcement on 8th November 2023. The news was shared via a message through the official website and social media handles.
GTA 6: Expected Price
The launch of the title is still a year away so obviously its pricing is shrouded in mystery. However, Gamers can expect a hiked price over GTA 5 and Read Dead Redemption 2 which currently costs Rs. 5000 approximately. So GTA 6 might cost somewhere between Rs. 5000 to Rs. 5500.

GTA 6: Platforms
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released on Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X/S at the time of launch. PC Version will be launched almost a year later as hinted by a Rockstar Games developer.

GTA 6: Storyline
As the first trailer has been launched, gamers do get an idea about what the storyline will be. From the trailer, it seems the game will follow a plot similar to previous generations wherein lead characters indulge in crimes like robbery and money heists. This will lead to the law being after them.
GTA 6: Major Leaks
A major gameplay leak of the GTA 6 happened last year on 18th September 2023. It showcased 90+ videos, images, and screenshots related to the title. The images gave us a hint about the female characters who will be seen wandering around and more. When the leak took place, Rockstar Games took to X and posted a message confirming that a network intrusion had taken place and someone unauthorized had leaked the information about the game.
The message promised that there would be a proper intro to the game in December 2023. However, even the trailer got leaked earlier in December 2023 and Rockstar Games had to release it before the decided date.
GTA 6: Main Characters
The GTA 6 is expected to have two protagonists, out of which one will be female. This will be the first time a GTA game will have a leading female character.
Lucia is the confirmed female lead of GTA 6. She is a convict who may have committed various crimes with the help of her companion Jason, the second lead in the story.
Jason hasn’t been named in the trailer but is expected to be the main male character who will assist Lucia in carrying out crimes like robbery, loot, and more. The two will go on missions together.
Other than two main characters, the game will have characters like a prison counselor, a joker, and more.

GTA 6: Locations
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set in Leonida, a fictional parody of Florida this time. The same was confirmed by the GTA 6 landing page. In Leonida, Vice City is expected to play a major role as it is a fictional city based in Miami, Florida. The title is said to feature real-life locations and various cuties that will be connected by bridges and highways.
Reports claim the map of GTA 6 will be three times larger than GTA 5, which means it will be massive.
GTA 6: Visuals
From the trailer, it seems like GTA 6 will feature even more breathtaking visuals and graphics than ever before. It will be built on top of GTA V’s evergreen graphics and attention will be paid to the minutest of details. It is said to feature tons of flora and fauna along with dynamic weather conditions that may be more prominent than ever compared to previous GTA versions.
