Gionee M7 Power with Dual-Camera and Full Vision Display Leaked Online Days Before Official Launch

Gionee is preparing to launch its upcoming smartphone on the September 26 and the images of the upcoming device have already surfaced on the Chinese social network Weibo.

The images provided us the preview of what the Gionee M7 Power might look like. The phone is expected to flaunt a full vision display, a metal unibody design, and have dual-cameras mounted on its rear.

Gionee M7 Power Leaked Specification

The said specifications on the Gionee M7 Power include a 6-inch display with 720×1440 (HD+) pixels resolution and a screen aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, the M7 phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz, and Mali-T880 GPU. The processor could be backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

In optics, the phone sports a dual-camera integration at the back – placed on the top right corner of the phone. The sensors on these cameras are not clear as of now, but it is speculated that one of the sensors could be a 5MP. For selfies, we could see a 5MP sensor in the Gionee M7. Both the rear and front cameras are said to be capable of shooting 4k videos.

At the software and security front, the M7 Power is most likely to run on the Android Nougat UI out of the box and feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

The M7 Power is going to be Gionee’s first smartphone to feature an edge-edge display and will compete against Samsung, LG, and Micromax, who have recently launched smartphones with similar screen features.
