Gionee A1 Lite with 20MP selfie camera launched in India at Rs. 14,999

Gionee India has launched a new A-series selfie phone, the Gionee A1 Lite. The mid-range smartphone will be made available in India via offline and online retail chains from August 10 onwards.

Gionee A1 Lite sports a 20MP selfie camera that also features a customized selfie flash and an automatic face detection settings. On the rear, it has a standard 13MP camera.

Talking at the launch event of Gionee A1 Lite Gionee India Director, Alok Shrivastava said, “We are thrilled to launch the latest in A1 series – A1 Lite. With the newest in line dual rear camera that delivers professional quality images and videos and a trendy design, A1 Lite will surely be the next game changer.”

Under the hood, the phone carries an Octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal memory. On the software front, the Gionee A1 Lite runs Amigo OS 4.0 running atop Android 7.0 Nougat.

From the outside, the phone will sport a sleek unibody design with a 5.3inch of HD display. The handset has a 4,000 mAh battery which, according to company claims, can give you 30 hours of uninterrupted usage.

Gionee A1 Lite has been priced at Rs 14,999, and to celebrate the launch, Gionee has partnered with Airtel and Paytm to announce the phone with two exciting offers that can be availed with the purchase of the product.
