On Wednesday, Fujifilm released the Instax Pal, a palm-sized digital camera, in India. Globally, the device debuted in September 2023. The camera is for younger enthusiasts who like to capture fun memories. Unlike other Instax cameras, this one doesn’t include a built-in printer, which reduces its overall size and makes it easy to carry around. Hence, the Instax Pal could be the right option for those interested in on-the-go photography.

Instax Pal Specifications And Features

The digital camera features a 1/5-inch CMOS sensor (f/2.2, ISO 100 to 1600) with a primary color filter. These click-clear and vibrant images are ready to share on social media. Further, users can connect Pal with an external photographic printer to get pictures printed on film, much like the other Instanx cameras. The wide-angle lens on the digital camera clicks photos from a unique perspective. Users also get a remote mode and interval mode.

The onboard memory can store up to 50 pictures, after which users must transfer them to their smartphone with the Instax Pal app. The app also allows users to take remote selfies, adjust photo sizes, and add markups like text, stickers, or emojis. There’s also an option to insert an SD card on the device. Users also get a detachable ring that doubles as a stand for the digital camera. It also makes carrying the camera easier.

To charge the device, users can connect it to a USB-C port. It takes about two to three hours to charge from zero to 100 percent. Further, the digital camera has a speaker that produces shutter sounds while clicking pictures. To turn the device on/off, click an image and switch between the modes; there are three buttons.
