Around the beginning of this year, we saw a shift in the online smartphone market. That was about when major online exclusive smartphone makers started showing offline inclination and didn’t seem very inclined to compete at razor-thin margins.
Well, it looks like a lot of new players are stepping in to fill that void. Flipkart too brings in a new smartphone brand, Billion, that aims to offer competitive products for the masses at aggressive price points.
The first in the series is the Billion Capture+, a Snapdragon 625 powered phone that you can get for just 10,990 INR. But can the practical usage experience match its spotless spec-sheet? Let’s try and answer that in our Billion Capture Plus FAQ.

Billion Capture+ Look and Feel
Question: How is the Billion Capture+ design?
Answer: The Billion Capture+ has a semi-metal body with rounded faux-metal side edges for comfortable grip. The metal used on the rear doesn’t have a premium finish and is a bit susceptible to smudges. On the front, you will find 2.5D glass, a regular 5.5-inch 16:9 full HD display with onscreen buttons.
The fingerprint sensor is present on the rear, the speaker grill and Type-C port are at the bottom and the audio jack is present up top. The power button and the volume rocker on the right edge give decent tactile feedback. Thanks to a high capacity battery within, it lies on the heavier side of the spectrum but is still convenient to wield.
Overall, the Capture+ is a sturdy and ergonomic phone with a rather conventional design, but that’s more than acceptable considering the aggressive price.
