Bangalore based nCore Games has announced that its hotly anticipated FAU-G game will launch in November 2020. The company has also revealed a teaser trailer through its Twitter handle. Here, have a look —

For the uninitiated, FAU-G which is short for Fearless and United Guards is an upcoming 3rd person action game. It’s been expected to fill the shoes of PUBG which had got banned for privacy concerns earlier this year.

The company co-founder Vishal Gondal has, however, said FAU-G will not compete with PUBG. In a recent interview with Indiatimes, he revealed that “FAU-G was always in the pipeline” and they ”were preparing for an October release. The ban on PUBG Mobile was coincidental.”

He also refuted the rumor that FAU-G will be a PUBG clone. Instead, it will be single and co-op third-person action in a different setting and gameplay mechanics.

The teaser shows Galwan Valley as one of the locations. And invites you to brawl together against the opponents. Mr. Gondal had also divulged that initially, the game will not have a battle royale mode. But, the same will be added later on.

nCore forecasts 20 crores users in a year from its release in November. And it has vowed to donate 20 percent of FAU-G’s net revenues to the Bharat Ke Veer fund.

Besides FAU-G, nCore is said to be working on a cricket game and a music game. The company has a decent roster of game designers, programmers, and animators. Now, although it is not a new company, we reserve our judgments for later. We look forward to a proper trailer and more details soon.
