Samsung’s next Galaxy A56 officially spotted
Our sources confirm that the Galaxy A56 is already being tested and will be released next year. This smartphone is listed as the “Galaxy A56 5G” and as expected, this device is sure to come with a 5G SoC. Earlier leaks suggested that the Galaxy A56 will come with an Exynos 1580 SoC, and there’s a very high probability that this is true.

Our sources have also confirmed the model number of the Galaxy A56: SM-A566B/DS. The previous Galaxy A55 had the model number “SM-A556B/DS” and the fact that this next-gen Galaxy A56 has also been spotted suggests that Samsung is putting its new devices through regular testing.
Galaxy A56’s expected features
Wondering what features the Galaxy A56 will offer? The Galaxy A56 will come with a powerful processor: This is probably the Exynos 1580. This processor has already been spotted on Geekbench and it gets a score equivalent to the Snapdragon 888. The Exynos 1580 has the model number “S5E8855” and is rumored to have the internal codename “santa”.

This SoC comes with the Xclipse 540 GPU. The previous Galaxy A55 had the Exynos 1480 and incorporated the Xclipse 530 GPU. The Exynos 1580 was rumored by an X user to have 4x Cortex-A720 and 4x Cortex-A520 CPU cores. The new smartphone should offer more advanced features. Galaxy A56’s update support is especially likely to be improved. Apart from these, there is no important information about the new Galaxy A56 yet.
Network tests of the smartphone are already in progress, showing that we are not far from the Galaxy A56. This device is expected to be officially launched in Q1 2025.
