Exclusive: Redmi A4 India Price Revealed—Set to Launch as India’s Most Affordable 5G Smartphone

In a major exclusive, we’ve uncovered the pricing details for the much-awaited Redmi A4 5G. According to our source, the base configuration of the Redmi A4 5G will hit the market at just ₹8,499, including all the launch offers and discounts. This price tag means that the Redmi A4 will indeed be the most affordable 5G smartphone in India.

While exact details about the storage variants remain under wraps, it’s expected that the base variant would be 4/128 GB. This follows Redmi’s announcement at IMC 2024, where the company revealed plans to keep the price under ₹10,000.

Redmi A4 5G Specifications

The Redmi A4 will feature a 6.7” IPS LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of HD+. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4nm process, making it the first smartphone in India to use this chip.

The device will include a 50 MP main lens with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8 MP front-facing camera. It will run Android 14 out of the box, alongside the new HyperOS 1.0 skin. Further, it will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port.
