Realme to launch the world’s first Android phone with ‘Dynamic Island’: Checkout first look here

0

Apple launched its 2022 iPhone 14 Pro Model with a big thing called the ‘Dynamic Island’.  It was a new pill-shaped area on the front that not only has camera hardware but also serves as a shape-changing hub for key alerts. The island being dynamic can change its shape and size to show alerts and notifications. This is an area that one can use to interact with to see notifications, control music, and more.

Now, there have been rumors about Android smartphone makers bringing Dynamic Island to its device. The name of the maker has been confirmed now and it is none other than ‘Realme’ who is all set to unveil one of its upcoming smartphones with Dynamic Island. Yes, it seems like very soon Android smartphone makers will also be able to access Dynamic Island on their phones.

This will be the first ever Android device that will come with a Dynamic Island. Smartprix in association with OnLeaks has gotten hold of the first look of the Dynamic Island on a Realme phone. The shared picture has been taken from a leaked Realme internal document allowing us to take a closer look at Realme’s dynamic island phone.

Huawei has also been making strides to launch an android phone with Dynamic Island but it seems like Realme will steal Huawei’s thunder and showcase its phone with Dynamic Island during the Mobile World Congress 2023.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island Vs Realme phone Dynamic Island

A closer look at the image shows the dynamic island on the Realme phone to be wider and bigger than what is found on Apple iPhones. However, functions seem to be the same as SuperVOOC charging is visible. Also, we are assuming that the island on the android device will also allow access to recently closed/ music apps.

Considering the previous development, we have already seen a dynamic island Android application that works pretty well on almost all Android smartphones. Though we can say that the users were supposed to make a lot of (tiring) customizations in the app to use the dynamic island feature. As for Realme, to make its dynamic island feature stand out from the crowd, the brand will surely offer some exclusive features based on its Dynamic Island along with better optimization.

Earlier Realme’s Madhav Sheth also posted about including a Mini capsule in upcoming C-Series smartphones and that might be the beginning of introducing Dynamic Island to Android phones.
