Entry-grade Honor 9C, 9A, and 9S launched

Honor has just introduced three budget smartphones Honor 9C, 9A, and 9S in Russia. The models come with complaisant features tagged with attractive prices. However, due to the ongoing tiff between Huawei and Google, all three lack Google Mobile services.

Honor 9C Features and Price

Ranking higher in terms of features and price, Honor 9C flaunts a frameless punch-hole display that measures 6.39-inches and has 1560×720 pixels. The phone has a triple camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is equipped with an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

Honor 9C has a powerful Kirin 710A octa-core chipset for processing. There is a 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage, further expandable using a microSD card slot. The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery, NFC support, and a fingerprint sensor at the back. The cost of Honor 9C is RUB 12,990  (approx Rs. 13,330) and comes in blue and black colors.

Honor 9A Features and Price

The Honor 9A features a 6.3-inch bezel-less screen with a waterdrop notch for 8MP front camera. The chipset used in Honor 9A is octa-core Helio P22 assisted with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone has triple rear cameras -13MP, 5MP, and 2MP lenses – and a fingerprint scanner. A beefy 5000mAh battery scores an extra point for the device. The phone is on pre-order at RUB 10,990 (approx Rs. 11,280).

Honor 9S Features and Price

The cheapest in the list is the Honor 9S featuring a small 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The rear side camera is installed in a square-cutout consisting of an 8MP main camera and a LED flash. The front camera has a 5MP sensor. The MediaTek Helio P22 SoC powers the Honor 9S paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable memory.

The battery capacity is a modest 3020mAh and there is no fingerprint sensor. Honor 9S comes with color variants of Blue, Black, and Red at a cost of RUB 6,990 (approx Rs. 7,200).

The Honor 9 series phones will go on sale from May 4 in Russia.
