Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Coolpad has unwrapped the taller variant of its Coolpad Note 3 (faq), which helped the company to taste little success was unveiled last year. The newly launched Coolpad Note 3 Plus is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be exclusively available at Amazon. The company will continue with its flash sale model and the first sale of Coolpad Note 3 Plus will be held on 13 May.

The Plus variant features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood of Coolpad Note 3 Plus shines an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage, expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The phone comes running on Cool UI 6.0 out of the box, which is based on Android Lollipop.

The Dual SIM phone features a 13-megapixel rear mounted primary camera with autofocus, PDAF, LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 6P Element Lens. On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel selfie camera with wide angle lens. It is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.
