Recently, we reported about the mysterious screw on the rear panel of the purported CMF Phone 1. Rumors suggest it will help users remove (and replace) the back plate, unlocking a new realm of customization, which could help the phone position itself against the competition. Shortly after, an Indian tipster seems to have leaked the entire spec sheet of the smartphone, including its screen size, processor, RAM/storage configurations, and price.

CMF Phone 1 Specifications (Leaked)

MediaTek launches Dimensity 7300 and 7300X that supports foldable displays

According to Indian tipster Yogesh Brar, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen. The LTPS panel can change the refresh rate from 30 to 120Hz. Further, the screen’s typical brightness is 800 nits, while the peak brightness (for exceptionally bright environments) is 2,000 nits. Regarding the bezels, the upcoming handset could feature symmetrical gaps all around the screen, much like what we’ve seen on the Nothing Phone (1).

Under the hood, the CMF Phone 1 may run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. Released in May 2024, the processor features four ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores. It is also based on 4nm fabrication technology. The chipset is paired with either 6 or 8GB of RAM, with 128GB of storage on both models. Users should also be able to expand the storage by up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Regarding optics, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a 50MP (Sony) primary sensor, a depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. The tipster also clarifies that the phone can only record 4K videos at 30 fps. Further, there’s no optical image stabilization. Nonetheless, the phone could feature some AI-based camera features, including an AI Vivid Mode. Powering the smartphone is a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging.

CMF Phone 1 Price (Leaked)

The tipster suggests that the CMF Phone 1’s base model (6/128GB) could cost buyers Rs. 15,999 (after a discount). Further, the higher variant (8/218GB) could be available for Rs. 17,999 (after a discount).

In the price range, the CMF Phone 1 will compete with smartphones like the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, Vivo Y58 5G, Oppo A3 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 13 5G.
