TL; DR
  • Nothing Headphone Pro was launched in the UK, EU, and other countries.
  • It has hybrid ANC up to 40dB, a battery life of up to 100 hours, Hi-Res Audio with LDAC support, and tactile controls including an Energy Slider and a multi-function roller.
  • The price is $99 or £79. It is available in the UK and EU for now, will arrive in the US on October 7, and is expected in India at the end of 2025 due to the local manufacturing setup.

CMF by Nothing has announced its first over-ear headphones, the Headphone Pro, expanding the lineup beyond earbuds. The launch was today, with global sales starting immediately in some regions. Availability in India will begin at the end of 2025, delayed because of the company’s ongoing local manufacturing setup, according to Akis.

CMF Headphone Pro Specs

The Headphone Pro includes 40mm drivers with Hi-Res Audio certification, support for LDAC codec at up to 990kbps, and hybrid active noise cancellation rated at up to 40dB. It also integrates adaptive noise adjustment modes, spatial audio, and personalized sound via Audiodo, which creates EQ profiles based on a hearing test stored directly on the headphones.

Battery capacity is rated at up to 100 hours of playback without ANC and 50 hours with ANC. Charging through USB-C will provide up to 4 hours of playback from a 5-minute charge. The headphones can also draw power directly from supported smartphones.

The design follows CMF’s modular approach with replaceable ear cushions available in multiple colors. Controls are mechanical instead of touch-based, including a multi-function roller for playback, volume, and ANC, an Energy Slider to shift bass and treble balance, and a customizable button. The device also carries IPX2 certification for light water resistance.

The price is set at $99 in the US, £79 in the UK, AU$179 in Australia, and around 15,800 yen in Japan. Sales began in the UK and EU on September 29, with the US launch scheduled for October 7.

CMF Headphone Pro India Launch and Expected Pricing

Indian pricing is expected to fall in the ₹8,000 to ₹9,000 range, but the release is confirmed only for late 2025. CMF says future India launches will align more closely with global timelines once the local production base is operational. The company states the delay is tied to its joint venture for domestic production under the “Make in India” program.
