CES 2022: Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Announced; India Launch Expected Soon

The much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S21 FE went official during the first day of the CES 2022. Samsung claims it to be a smartphone that will deliver select fan-favorite Galaxy S21 premium features in a good package to allow fans to express themselves. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Price & Availability

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be up for sale globally starting January 11th via Samsung.com and other online/offline stores. The price begins at USD 699 (Rs. 52,031) and will be available in 3 storage options-

  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage

The smartphone is expected to come to India soon.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Design

It has a premium signature design with a Contour Cut frame to integrate S21 FE 5G’s camera for a stylish look. It comes in 4 color variants- Olive, Lavender, White, or Graphite and has a 7.9mm thick body and a weight of 1777 grams. There is an under-display optical fingerprint scanner with a camera bump integrated into the matte finish back panel. The flash module is outside the camera island.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Specs

The smartphone has a 6.4-inch 2340×1080 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and supports 5G connectivity. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE packs a 4500mAh battery with 25W wired and 15w wireless charging.

In the camera department, there is a triple camera rear setup with a 12MP main sensor (with OIS), a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens. On the front is a 32MP selfie camera cased in a center-aligned punch-hole cutout.

There are several shooting modes in the Galaxy S21 FE. These include a multi-camera recording mode and let one capture video from the front and rear cameras at the same time as well as a night mode that can take up to 14 images at the same time to capture more lighting and details, giving a lot in a single shot.

There is an object eraser feature that lets you erase unwanted objects from pictures. Other features include IP68 certification, Barometer support, NFC and runs One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.
