Blackberry Leap Launched In India

Lately Blackberry has been pretty out of the showdown for quite a long time now. But it has been constantly struggling to achieve some redemption. There have been smartphones like Blackberry Z10, Z30 and Z3. Blackberry had announced another smartphone, Blackberry Leap earlier in March 215. As the news have it, the same smartphone has now been launched in India. This seems to be some real effort from Blackberry with a trendy design pattern which goes totally off the orthodox track of QWERTY form factor.

Blackberry Leap features a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz with a dedicated Adreno 225 GPU to assist the processor in providing an excellent graphic experience to the user. 2 GB of RAM can be found onboard which surely makes the device a speedy performer with no hassle in multitasking. Leap comes with 16 GB of built in memory space which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card. It runs on the latest Blackberry OS 10 with the build version 10.3.1. Blackberry Leap sports an 8 MP auto focus rear facing camera with LED flash by its side to strike the light. The 8 MP camera is capable of 1080p HD video capture at 30 fps. A 2 MP fixed focus front facing camera is available to serve the purpose of capturing selfie and video calling. Leap packs a 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

Blackberry Leap price in India is expected to be set around INR 22,000 and is going to be available starting from May 12. Although the device has yet to prove its worth and give Blackberry its ground back in the smartphone market, yet you can expect more out the new creation by Blackberry.
