Tomorrow marks the commencement of the Bharat Mobility Show starting from February 1. Serving as a global expo, it can be likened to the Auto Expo held in January 2023. The event is poised to feature portfolio showcases, unveil a few new products, and showcase technological advancements geared towards a sustainable future, encompassing aspects like road safety and future fuels. Supported by the Government of India, the Bharat Mobility Show aims to comprehensively cover the entire spectrum of the mobility ecosystem.
Bharat Mobility Expo 2024
In this overview, we delve into what you need to know and anticipate for the four-wheeler segment at the Bharat Mobility Show:
The event will feature the participation of nearly all major car manufacturers in India, encompassing names such as Maruti, Mahindra, and others. Notably, luxury carmakers like Mercedes-Benz will also be present. Distinct from the Auto Expo format, where manufacturers often unveil future products and concepts, the Bharat Mobility Show will predominantly spotlight the exhibition of their current portfolios.
However, exceptions to the trend are expected, as Mercedes has already announced plans to showcase the AMG GLE 53 facelift and the EQG electric G Wagon concept at its stand. While this suggests the possibility of other automakers seizing the opportunity to unveil new products, no official confirmations have been made on that front.
Featuring over 800 exhibitors, the Bharat Mobility Show is set to spotlight the entirety of the mobility ecosystem. Beyond the display of cars, the focus will extend to powertrain technologies, charging infrastructure, automation, and future fuels. The showcase will encompass a diverse range of activities, including conferences, forums, workshops, and various dialogues, offering attendees a comprehensive exploration of the evolving landscape of mobility.
Scheduled from February 1 to 3, 2024, and running from 10 am to 6 pm at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the Bharat Mobility Show invites visitors to register on its official website. Beyond being a mere display of car portfolios, this event is poised to elevate India as a key hub for global automotive capabilities. Given India’s position as one of the largest markets for vehicle manufacturers, the show aims to shed light on sustainable practices and contribute to mitigating environmental impacts stemming from the expanding mobility sector in the future.
