The much-awaited Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB RAM variant is finally going on sale in India. The Max Pro M1 6GB+64GB variant first sale is scheduled for July 26 on Flipkart. Previously, we spotted the 6GB RAM version of the Zenfone Max Pro M1 on Flipkart which suggested Asus was gearing up to the official launch.

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 new variant isn’t just about the RAM bump up as it has different SKU with incremental upgrades made on both front and rear cameras. The 6GB version features an improved dual rear optics that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor for bokeh effect.
Asus has also made changes in selfie camera. The Max Pro M1 (6GB+64GB) comes with a 16-megapixel shooter for self-portraits and video calling. Other than this, the rest of the specifications largely remains the same.
The Zenfone Max Pro (M1) is first Asus branded phone the offers stock-ish Android experience along with dual rear cameras and massive battery backup. The phone sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ LCD display (2160 x 1080 pixels) with 450 nits brightness. The display comes with 15000:1 contrast ratio and 85 percent NTSC color gamut.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro challenger rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile processor with Adreno 509 GPU. The packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charger. As for connectivity, the Zenfone Max Pro Mi1 includes 4G VoLTE, dual SIM dual VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-SIM, dedicated microSD card slot, GPS, and micro USB port.

Earlier, Asus announced that the Zenfone 6GB RAM variant to retail in India for Rs 14,999. It is highly unlikely that Asus will change the price tag now.
