Asus Zenfone 7 aka 7z visits Geekbench; Specs revealed

Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer ASUS has been keeping a low profile in the smartphone market. It seems that Asus is prepping up to launch its awaited Zenfone 7 (aka Asus 7z). A phone with model name Asus ZF has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site. As per the benchmarking platform, the Asus ZF has flagship tier specifications. It is believed to be the Zenfone 7.

ASUS ZenFone 7/ 7Z specifications

The ASUS ZF which is likely to launch as ZenFone 7 or 7Z running on the Kona chipset from Qualcomm. Those who don’t now, Kona is a codename of Qualcomm’s flagship mobile chipset – Snapdragon 865. The octa-core chipset has been preferred choice of the flagship Android smartphones in 2020. As per the Geekbench, the Asus ZF has 16GB RAM and running on Android 10 operating system.

On the benchmark front, the phone seems to score 973 points in the single-core test and 3,346 points in the multi-core test.

Although the phone has been spotted on Geekbench, Asus is yet to confirm these specs, therefore you should take these with a pinch of salt.

Apart from the Zenfone 7, Asus’ gaming series phone – ROG 3 also has been in the news recently. According to the rumor, the next gaming phone from the Taiwanese smartphone maker will include a 6.59-inch FHD+ OLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate powered by a higher-binned Snapdragon 865 chipset, 16GB of RAM and a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
