Asus has tried to make the new Zenfone Max variant feel more ‘Luxurious’. For the new Max to lose some weight and inches (rather, mm), the 5000mAh battery had to go, and give way to a lighter and lower 4100mAh capacity power unit. A more power efficient chipset, however, will offset the difference to an extent. Besides, the Android Marshmallow based Zen UI integrates numerous power saving profiles that you could use to further extend your mileage.
