ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Unveils GX800 Gaming Laptop At Rs. 7,97,990

Asus’ PC gaming-centric unit. Republic of Gamers (ROG) today unveiled its newest offering, a monstrous gaming laptop named as the GX800. The device is being dubbed as the most powerful one built yet all across the world yet, and is a successor to the company’s GX700 one (which was  world’s first liquid-cooled gaming laptop).

The 18-inch device is also the first in the world to deliver real 4K UHD gameplay experience and features NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, also supporting all of the major VR headsets in the country, at that.

GX800

The GX800 comes equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SLI graphics and also features an advanced version of the Hydro Overclocking System liquid-cooling module in India, that is there to the system down in times of extreme overclocking of the processors as well as the graphic cards.

The said system also helps in aggravating the clock frequencies considerably (from 3.2GHz to 4.4GHz).

The device has a 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra score of 10395 even in the overclocked stage and the laptop makes use of not one but two 330W power adapters to supply it with fuel to keep it running.

Apart from that, the GX800 also comes in replete with the Mechanical Tactile Advanced Gaming (MechTAG) keyboard, which has mechanical switches for positive clicks and 2.5mm of key travel capacity.

Also, the GX800 can run games at ‘Ultra’ graphics settings at frame rates averaging over 60fps (as per company claims).
