Apple’s next iPhone to be named SE+ 5G, might launch in April or May

Apple’s next iPhone is all set to launch in a few months. The device is reportedly named as iPhone SE+ 5G and reports claim that it will launch at April end of the beginning of May 2022. The new iPhone is said to have the same design and display as the last-gen model. However, some upgrades in performance and connectivity departments are expected.

iPhone SE+ 5G Expected Upgrades

iPhone SE+ 5G is said to sport a 4.7-inch display which is the same as its predecessor. It will have 5G cellular connectivity which will be a major upgrade over the existing iPhone SE model.

Ross Young has tweeted about the launch timeline of the upcoming iPhone SE+ smartphone. According to him, display panel production for the smartphone is beginning this month and the total manufacturing will begin from March 2022. The shipments are expected to begin from late April or early May, he has claimed.

A few days ago, Ross Young also revealed the official name of the upcoming Apple smartphone which is the iPhone SE+ 5G. Earlier the device was being called iPhone SE 3 or iPhone SE (2022).

The design is expected to be the same as its predecessor, but the upcoming iPhone SE is rumored to get Apple’s A15 Bionic Chipset with 3GB RAM. It is said to sport an improved 12MP primary camera lens along with getting 5G connectivity.

Along with iPhone SE+ 5G, the company is also expected to launch its new iPad Air Model which will come with A15 Bionic SoC and 5G connectivity.
