It hasn’t even been a month since Apple launched iPhone 13 series and the reports about the iPhone 14 series have already started trickling in. Although the launch of the iPhone 14 series is still a year away, the latest leaks reveal that one of the major upgrades in the iPhone 14 will be in the storage capacity department.

After doubling the storage capacity to 1TB with iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, now iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models will reportedly have up to 2TB of OLC flash storage capacity. One of the reasons for this new storage option is said to be the new camera feature ProRes for videos because ProRes videos and 4K 60FPS videos shot on iPhone take up a lot more space than normal videos.

iPhone 14 Other Expected Upgrades

Reports also speculate that instead of focusing on camera advancements, iPhone 14 will focus more on a full redesign that eliminates the notch. Apple analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo states that iPhone 14 line-up will include two 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch versions which will mark the end of the 5.4-inch version.
