Apple’s WWDC 2022 is being hosted virtually in the wake of Covid-19. It will start at 10 am PST which means in India, it will start at around 10.30 pm IST. Expectations from WWDC 2022
The most awaited software announcements are expected in terms of updates for iOS 16 and iPad OS 16. iOS 16 is expected to bring an always-on-display on iPhone whereas iPad OS16 will come with a redesigned multitasking interface and the ability to resize windows to the iPad.
The most fascinating announcement could be in terms of reality OS or rOS. It is Apple’s long-rumored OS for its upcoming AR/VR headset. Apple might just tease the product and showcase some of its software at WWDC 2022. Updates to watch OS 9 are also expected.
In terms of hardware, Apple is expected to launch redesigned MacBook Air at WWDC 2022. The new MacBook Ais is likely to arrive with M2 Processor offering better performance per watt efficiency.
