How To Get A New Apple Watch For Free?

  1. First and foremost, buyers must visit their nearest authorized Apple Watch reseller, including Apple-authorized resellers, to buy a new Apple Watch.
  2. At the time of purchase, customers must enroll in the Zopper Wellness Program. The store staff will help buyers enter all their details into the Zopper Retail Portal and register.
  3. Next up, customers must download the HDFC ERGO app and log in with the same contact number they used to sign up for the Zopper Wellness Program. Further, they must provide permission to sync their steps (from Apple Health) with the HDFC ERGO app.
  4. Once the setup is complete and the store staff gives the go-ahead, buyers must complete the monthly steps requirement to be eligible for redeeming the reward points (up to 1/12 of the Apple Watch’s cost) after completing a policy month with a minimum of 110 points, for which they’ll need to walk 15,000 steps for at least 28 days in a month.

The accumulated points make the buyers eligible for a partial or full refund of their Apple Watch 1/12th cost (or the EMI for that month).

  • Between 31 and 50 points – 10% refund
  • Between 51 and 70 points – 30% refund

Based on a conversation with a Unicorn store executive, buyers can purchase the Apple Watch Series 10 or the Apple Watch Ultra 2 on an EMI for 12 months. Once they enroll in the program, they’ll have to monitor their steps daily and cross the 15,000 step mark to be eligible for a full refund of that particular month’s EMI, equivalent to 1/12 of the cost.

If buyers manage to maintain the 15,000 steps streak for a year, which, by the way, will do wonders for their physical health, they’ll get the entire cost of Apple Watch as a refund, making it effectively free.
