Apple to launch Watch Ultra 3 & Watch SE 3 in Mid-2025: Reports

Apple has recently launched the iPhone 16 Series along with the Apple Watch Series 10. Besides the Watch Series 10, Apple has also refreshed the Watch Ultra 2 by launching it in a new Satin black color. This didn’t come as a surprise as TF Securities Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 wouldn’t be launching at the iPhone 16 event. However, the latest news about the launch of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is that it will launch in the middle of 2025.

Kuo shares a post on X in which he claims that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 in 2025. Along with the Apple Watch Ultra 3, the brand will also unveil the Apple Watch SE 3, which will be refreshed after three years of the current SE 2 model.

If the claim is accurate, then the Apple Watch SE 3 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be launched globally in the third quarter of 2025. They might arrive with the iPhone 17 series or slightly earlier in August 2025.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to arrive with upgrades in terms of battery life, performance, and new health sensors. Apple is also said to introduce a new material for the case to enhance the durability of the 3^rd generation Watch Ultra. Apple Watch SE 3 is also expected to get some useful improvements.

Kuo predicts that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 not launching might lead to a 30% decline in year-on-year shipments of the flagship watch. This also means that the Apple Watch Series 10 will be the only upgraded smartwatch from Apple in 2024. The company is expected to host one more launch event in October 2024, but that will see the launch of iMac, Mac Mini, and MacBook Pro Models powered by M4 chipset.
