Apple Wonderlust event is over and the much anticipated iPhone 15 Series is out. This latest iPhone lineup consists of four distinct models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. While there were earlier speculations regarding an iPhone 15 Ultra, this iteration of the iPhone series focuses on offering a diverse range of features and enhancements across the board. At the launch event, Apple revealed iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus pricing details, specifications, and release dates for these new smartphones.

iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus: Color, Storage Models, Price & Availability

Apple iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in 5 stunning colors- Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue and Black. Apple iPhone 15 starts at 799 USD while the iPhone 15 Plus starts at 899 USD.

The iPhone 15 Series will be up for pre-order starting September 15th. The pricing starts from Rs. 79,900. The official sale starts from September 22nd.

iPhone 15 Plus also comes in 3 storage configurations-

The starting prices of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are the same as iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus Design

The Phone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus feature Dynamic Island displays, introducing an intuitive pill-shaped notch. Notably, Apple bids farewell to the Lightning port and embraces USB-C connectivity. These iPhones boast OLED Super Retina displays with up to 2000 nits peak brightness. The iPhone 15 boasts a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 15 Plus offers a more expansive 6.7-inch panel. It comes in five stunning colors: Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Black. They also sport a textured matte finish and ceramic shield protection.

These iPhones feature contoured edges and incorporate ceramic shields to safeguard their displays. Notably, they are constructed using sustainable materials, with 75% recycled aluminum, 100% recycled cobalt, and 100% recycled copper contributing to their eco-friendly design.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 48MP main camera and 12MP telephoto lens on the rear, while the A16 Bionic chipset powers both models. The iPhones have a 48MP main and a 12MP telephoto lens at the back.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus run iOS 17 and are powered by an A16 Bionic chipset with up to 1TB onboard storage. Apple has introduced a USB-C port for charging, data transfer, and more and packs larger batteries that offer all-day battery life. Satellite Features like Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance will be free for 2 years in the USA.

The introduction of a USB-C port enhances charging and data transfer capabilities, while larger batteries ensure all-day battery life. Furthermore, US users will benefit from free Satellite Features such as Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance for a period of 2 years.
