Samsung is about to launch two new mid-range smartphones in India: the Galaxy A55G and the Galaxy A35 5G. While we’ve already covered the leaked specifications of the former, a new Android Headlines report reveals the entire spec list of the latter. Here’s everything we know about the Galaxy A35 5G. For instance, the handset will ship in four colors: Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Navy, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Lemon.
Galaxy A35 5G Leaked Specifications
According to the report, the smartphone will come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone should run on the Exynos 1380 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device should also support a 1TB memory card.
Regarding cameras, the phone features a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP macro shooter. On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera, and per the leaked images, it is situated at the center. The report also mentions that the phone will feature a 5,000 mAh battery for 25W wired charging. Last but not least, the smartphone will also carry an IP67 water and dust resistance rating.
Galaxy A35 5G Leaked Price
The 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone could be priced at EUR 389 (about Rs. 35,000), while the 8GB variant could cost EUR 459 (about Rs. 41,000). This appears to be steep pricing, especially for the Exynos 1380 SoC (about 600K points on Antutu), which is much less powerful than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (about 1.3M points on Antutu) or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (about 1.5M points on Antutu) available at a similar price point in India.
For instance, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro 5G, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, costs Rs. 36,999 for the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Further, the Nothing Phone (2) with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage is available for Rs. 36,999. Hence, if Samsung releases the Galaxy A35 5G at the tipped price, it might face severe competition.
