2022 Hyundai Tucson set to launch on July 13 in India: Here’s the expectation

The 2022 Tucson is expected to sport the ADAS feature and will fight against Tata Harrier/Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and Jeep Compass.

Hyundai, a South Korean automobile giant, has set the India launch date for 2022 Hyundai Tucson. The new Hyundai SUV car to debut in India on July 13. The company will soon start pre-booking the new Tucson in the country. The car has been a successful SUV in the global market. 

The upcoming Tucson will closely compete with Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV700, and Jeep Compass in the SUV market of India. The new Tucson is widely believed to ship with loads of new features and upgraded cosmetics when compared to its predecessor. 

2022 Hyundai Tucson: What to expect?

Since the upcoming 2022 Tucson already avialable in the global market and we know what to expect. The SUV will be a 5-seat crossover featuring Hyundai’s prevailing design. 

The front face of the upcoming Tucson will feature Hyundai’s new grille design that includes chrome garnishing and integration of LED lighting. The headlights seam mounted a little inside the body. It will a silver skid plates at both the front and rear end.

The new Tucson 2022 will get a dashboard and interior closely similar to the newly launched 2022 Hyundai Creta. While it will also have sporty and slim AC vents with a TFT colour instrument cluster. The SUV is also expected to arrive with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology to become the first Hyundai car to be equipped with this feature.

The 2022 Tucson has a bold side profile with fluent creases, alloy wheels, and automatic ORVMs. The rear LED strip will be meeting all across the width of the Tucson and will include indicators in two parts.

For powertrain options, Hyundai can avail of the new Tucson in a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel motor variant. The former will be providing an output of 150p and 192Nm with a 6-speed ATC throttle while the latter will deliver 182hp and 400Nm of power with a gearbox of an 8-speed automatic torque converter.
