2022 Hyundai Creta Knight Edition launched at Rs 13.35 lakh; Here’s the complete detail

Hyundai Motors is slated to bring a facelifted version of its popular Creta with some breathtaking upgrades in India later this year. But prior to this, the South Korean maker has refreshed the Creta portfolio in the country with a Knight Edition and a Creta IMT transmission option. Let’s get into detail. 

2022 Hyundai Creta Knight Edition details

The all-new 2022 Hyundai Creta Knight Edition gets major exterior visual upgrades with the all-black theme, new design addition and cosmetic updates. The company will sell the Knight Edition in India starting at Rs 13.35 lakh to Rs 18.02 lakh for the top variant. 

The 2022 Creta Knight Edition arrives with newly designed front grilles that include black gloss and red inserts in between. The front and rear skid plates now have a black gloss finish replacing the old grey tone. The mid-size SUV has glossy black-toned side sills, roof rails, lightning arc C-pillars, and a shark fin antenna.

Hyundai has wisely used a red tone on the calipers of the front disc brakes to give Creta Knight Edition an attractive look. The car will run 17-inch dark metal coloured alloy wheels. It has a soft ‘Knight’ Edition emblem on the boot lid. It has LED headlights and tail lights. On the interior, the Knight Edition gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, black-red AC vents, chrome-textured steering, and red stream-lined seat covers.

Hyundai Creta Knight Edition will offer two engine variants – 1.5-litre NA petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel in manual and automatic transmission options. The former can deliver 115PS of power and 144Nm peak torque offers a 6-speed manual and a CVT transmission. While the latter is paired with a six-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Hyundai Creta IMT details

The company has introduced the IMT transmission option to its existing Creta 1.5L petrol engine variant and will be called the S IMT variant. The new model has priced at Rs 12.67 lakh in the country. The Creta S IMT model will closely fight against the IMT option of Kia Seltos which is retailing at Rs 12.39 lakh ex-showroom price.
