Unreliable and dissapointing
Bought the cooler in March 2018. Used it that summer and then again on summer of 2019. This year when tried to run the cooler, it failed to start making a low "grrrrr " sound. After lockdown was opened, got it checked from Bajaj's mechanic. He informed that the motor has burnt and cost of motor is 2200/- approx plus GST and service charges and same has to be borne by me as warranty was for 1 year only. Please note that my usage for cooler was very intermittent as we used it only when some guests came down or in kitchen when heat became unbearable. For bedroom there is an AC. I am now shocked that for an Rs 7000 cooler have to pay 2200/ - just after 2 years. Normally for such appliances , the main drive i.e motor should have longer warranty. With the kind of usage that i have , i can describe the product unreliable as i had purchased it after weighing in its OEM's name. Disappointing!!!
