Expected a better product

The product is nice with good cooling. But, the only con is that it lacks the Turbo Mode on the remote. Delivery by Flipkart was good but the most painful area is the Installation from Jeeves. Jeeves provide the most pathetic installation possible. Their installation guy in Asansol, West Bengal was Suman Namhata and he was such a horrible guy. First of all, he provided a sub-standard stand for the outdoor unit. He was lacking proper tools to even create a hole on the wall. He was not having the leveller gauge to fix the indoor unit properly. Though the drainage pipe was fixed at the right hand side of the unit, the unit had a tilt on the left side, as a result, water was not draining properly and was getting accumulated on the indoor unit. He could not even connect the power cable properly to the outdoor unit. While checking the temperature and sending it to Jeeves after installation, he asked for ice and lowered the temperature of the thermometer using ice. He was such a fraudulent guy. He did not even carried out the vacuuming process before starting the ac for the first time. Even complaining to their local office in Asansol was of no use. Initially they said they will repair it but did not send anyone even after 15 days and regular follow up yielded no result. Finally, I had to book a re-installation directly with Hitachi, paid them Rs. 2000 and they fixed everything properly. The service guy from Hitachi was very knowledgeable and he admitted that the previous installation from Jeeves was horrible. He said that if the re-installation was not done, the machine would have started to show cooling issues within a short interval of time. And vacuum process is mandatory while installing a new ac. Initially, I was reluctant to get the installation done from Jeeves and wanted to get it directly from Hitachi. But, flipkart customer care informed me that if some issue appears after installation, they will not process the return of the product. Hence, I was compelled to get the installation done from Jeeves. This is really pathetic from flipkart and they should discard Jeeves and get the installation done directly from the brand itself. Final Verdict : Though the product is good, please stay away from buying an air conditioner from Flipkart. Otherwise, you will have to go through horrible installation experience from Jeeves. And this is true all over India. If you want to buy an ac online, please buy it from the biggest competitor of flipkart (I think you understand which platform I mean) as they gets the installation done directly from the brand and it was really a very good experience with installation when I recently bought a panasonic ac from that platform. I am not going to buy any more ac from flipkart until they get rid of Jeeves and starts to get installation done from the brand itself. And this is my advice to everyone as well. Moreover, if you are buying any ac in the region of Asansol, West Bengal from an online or offline stores, please make sure Mr. Suman Namhata is not coming to install your ac. Otherwise you will have a pathetic installation experience and your ac will start to show issues within a short span of time. Please be aware of this fraudulent guy named Mr. Suman Namhata in Asansol, West Bengal. I have deducted three stars only due to the horrible installation experience from Jeeves, the installation partner of Flipkart.
