The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live finale season teaser is out and it has excited the fans of the show big time as Rick Grimes is making a comeback after we last saw him in season 9. In season 9 he sacrificed himself to save his family and has been missing since. Michonne later starts finding him and we will see the last of them in the finale of The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: Release Date

In the series finale of Fear the Walking Dead, AMC unveiled that the last episode, The Ones Who Live will premiere on the 25th of February, 2024. Earlier teasers had revealed that the story will focus on Michonne and Rick where Andrew Lincon and Danai Gurira will be reprising their respective roles. Everything will be clear when the episode premieres but till then here are some speculations that can be considered.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: Teaser Interpretation

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is probably set after the events of Daryl Dixon released on 10 September 2023. By the end of all these spin-offs, the entire team might reunite once again.

In the teaser, Rick is seen in an undesirable condition where he was possibly held captive by the CRM and somehow managed to escape. Now he is being hunted down by the CRM forces and is totally on his own trying to find a way back home. Meanwhile, Michonne is looking for him as well and some scenes might show a glimpse of these two being reunited. However, the way the series is executed, either Michonne will find Rick in the final moments of the final episode in adverse conditions, or as soon as these two meet, the episode will end without them having an interaction.

The Ones Who Live will have 6 episodes and the story might get a 2nd season as well. It can turn out to be one of the biggest releases of 2024 if the cards are played smartly since the relationship between Rick and Michonne is one of the most anticipated things about the franchise.

If you are a newcomer to The Walking Dead franchise, the watch order might get pretty confusing for you. Over the last 12 years, The Walking Dead has gone from a solo series to a multi-title franchise- and while its original show has concluded, it’s not looking to slow down any time. Daryl’s France set spin-off has not long finished airing, while Rick and Michonne’s outing is set to premiere in the US in February 2024.

Such a long-running and extensive franchise can get overwhelming if you don’t know what order to watch it in. With the long-running flagship all wrapped up, those who shuffled off-mid-run will want to revisit all things The Walking Dead. For others, who want to tackle the series for the first time, here is the order in which they can watch the show.
