The watch is good but app needs improvement I got the watch in big savings day sale for 3,600. I'll split the review into segments so that it'll be easy to read. TLDR review: Dizo watch pro is very good value for money product. If you can look past its not so good HR monitoring and realme link app's sparse data on workouts, it is a great buy. Review: Design and Display: The watch is built solidly. It's fine and good for the price segment. It also earns an additional point by being reminiscent of a certain fruit brand's watch series 😉. The display is bright and visible outdoors but there is no autobrightness. Heart rate monitoring: Heart rate monitoring is mostly a farce. I've pulse oximeter and the watch never got it right. Although you'll get somewhat close to the accurate readings, if you wear watch on the inner side of your wrist. Also I didn't see heart rate monitoring working when not on your hand which is good. Workouts and GPS performance: My workouts involved only outdoor cycling and indoor walking. Unlike many fitness trackers with GPS, this watch actually latches to GPS within 30 secs. The caveat is the watch struggles to latch to GPS signal if you're indoors but since GPS is needed for outdoor workouts only, it is not big issue. There is no auto workout tracking so you need to manually turn on and tracking is fine. Realme Link app: The watch syncs with realme link app which is a big plus since it is less buggier than dizo app and you can sync your workouts with Google fit. There is a good amount of watch faces which are designed well but falls behind in number if you compare with Mi fit or Amazfit's zepp app. The pairing process is fairly simple and workout records are laid out fairly neat. But the main drawback that pulls down the rating of this review is app's presentation of activity data. For outdoor cycling, it shows only avg heart rate, avg pace, workout time, distance in map and calories burned. That's it. I used samsung health app several times to track my cycling with my smartphone and that has way more data than the realme link which is disappointing. I've attached both realme link and Samsung health app's data of my cycling so decide for yourself. Battery life: I used watch only to track my workouts only. So that's usually 30 minutes of cycling with GPS tracking and an hour of walking. I also turned continuous HR monitoring off. It's been 6 days since I charged the watch to 100% and battery is still at 87%. While your mileage may vary, you'll still get good battery life nonetheless. Miscellaneous: Notifications are synced well but dismissing them in watch won't dismiss it in smartphone. Calls can be muted or rejected. SPO2 is there and works fine. Additional features include music control and camera shutter which works well.
