₹1 Lakh Refrigerator Became Irreparable Due to Internal Gas Leakage
I purchased the Samsung RF50K5910SL 594L double-door refrigerator on 17-05-2018 for ₹1,00,000 from Bajaj Electronics. The refrigerator has never been moved from its place or mishandled. After several years of use, it suddenly stopped cooling. Samsung service personnel inspected it and diagnosed an internal refrigerant/gas leakage and informed us that the refrigerator is irreparable and effectively has to be scrapped. It is extremely disappointing that a refrigerator costing ₹1 lakh has reached a stage where the service team says it cannot be repaired. We purchased Samsung expecting premium quality, durability and reliable after-sales service. This experience has seriously damaged our trust in Samsung refrigerators. Model: Samsung RF50K5910SL Capacity: 594L Purchase price: ₹1,00,000 Purchase date: 17-05-2018 Problem: Stopped cooling; internal refrigerant/gas leakage diagnosed by service personnel Service conclusion: Reportedly irreparable I am sharing this review so that prospective buyers are aware of my long-term ownership experience before purchasing this model.
