Keeping up with the latest fad of bringing out selfie-centric smartphones, Vivo has brought out the V5 Plus, primarily intended to cater to the same market. The phone, featuring a dual camera setup on the front, is seemingly a bid by the Chinese smartphone maker to bolster its portfolio of camera-centric phones which includes the likes of the company's V5 smartphone.
Talking about the specifications, the phone features a 5.5-inch full HD display protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset coupled with 4 gigs of RAM, the V5 Plus sports a metal unibody and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Funtouch 3.0 OS.
Furthermore, the phone features an in-built storage space of 64GB and packs a 3160mAh battery that also has provisions for fast charging services along with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in its home button.
The V5 Plus stays true to its billing of a 'selfie expert' and features a dual camera module up front featuring a 20MP primary sensor alongside an 8MP secondary sensor that is there to sense the depth of field in selfies.
