Sony has announced its Xperia X on the floor of Mobile World Congress 2016, in Barcelona, Spain. The phone will be made available in White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold colors. Sony has plans to put this smartphone on the shelves of retail stores somewhere during the summer of 2016. Here’s everything we know about Sony Xperia X: features, specifications and price in India.
The Sony Xperia X embraces a 5-inch full HD Triluminos display which is powered by company’s proprietary X-Reality engine. Under the hood, it comes fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset which runs on Sony’s custom UI layered on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. To handle multiple tasks simultaneously, Sony has roped in 3GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU for better gaming experience.
More often than not, camera hardware has been the strongest suit of Sony smartphone and we expect a similar performance from Xperia X cameras. Sony has backed this Xperia series smartphone with a 23-megapixel primary module with f1/2.3 Exmor RS sensor, predictive hybrid autofocus, and pulse LED flash. This is not all, Sony has upgraded 13-megapixel camera at the front of Xperia X. The company has used the expertise of engineers of its Alpha camera unit to ensure better optics experience for the end user.
Sony Xperia X has all-metal unibody design as it teases with a tempting 7.9 mm slim waistline and weighs 153grams. The phone comes with 32 GB onboard` storage with an option to expand it to 200GB via microSD card.
In terms of connectivity front, Xperia comes with X dual-SIM, 4G LTE, wi-fi, Bluetooth. There is no official information about the availability of Sony Xperia X in India. We expect Sony Xperia X Dual SIM to be priced in India somewhere around 40,000 INR.
