Micromax Yu Yureka

Yu Yureka, Micromax’s new subsidiary unveiled the first Yu smartphone, called the Yu Yureka (AO5510). Micromax has promised that Yureka will be one of the first smartphones to get the Android Lollipop OS based version of Cyanogen. This is a dual SIM handset with 4G + 3G support. This is well ahead of its closest competitor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note. The device is basically a repackaged version of the F2, which also comes with Snapdragon 615, 5.5 inch HD display and other similar features. The Yu Yureka price in India is Rs. 8999 available at Amazon.in Design & Display The Yureka features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. In comparison, the OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch display with a high resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Both smartphones have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection against scratches. Camera The OnePlus One and Micromax Yureka have almost identical cameras. The phone has a 13 MP camera which has a Sony EXMOR CMOS sensor, f2.2 aperture, 75.4 degree wide-angle lens and can shoot at 1080p and a slow-motion video at 60 frames per second. It’s also got Blue Filter architecture to balance light and get better exposure. The front facing camera is 5 megapixel. As both phones run the same software, expect the same level of customization and features in the two phones. Operating System & Software Yu Yureka is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4×1.5GHz + 4×1.0GHz) processor that gives into high intensity gaming with superior graphics processing and runs on CyanogenMod OS 11 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with OTA updates every month.
