Unlike the Vibe X2 which had an impressive layered design, the Vibe X3 banks on its audio prowess. Lenovo has launched two variants of Vibe X3 in China, where the premium model is available in 32GB and 64GB variants and the next one is a more affordable ‘Youth’ variant. Audio experience is the key highlight of Vibe X3. All variants have Front facing speakers, three Texas Instruments OPA1612 amplifiers, a Cirrus Logic WM8281 codec for noise and echo cancellation, and a high-end Sabre 9018C2M DAC. Dolby Atmos branding is also present on Vibe X3, but we feel it’s more of a marketing term as of today. With all three variants, you will get a 5.5 Inch full HD displays shielded with Gorilla Glass 3, and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner independent of which phone you choose. The top 2 models are powered by Snapdragon 808 with 3GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage. For photography there is a 23MP Sony IMX230 with PDAF and an 8MP front camera. There is a juicy 3600mAh battery inside that supports Qualcomm Quickcharge 2.0 rapid charging. The Youth variant is powered by 1.3 GHz MediaTek Chipset (we are guessing, MT6753) aided with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Battery capacity is a bit smaller at 3400mAh, but the battery is removable. For photography, a 16MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter are present. Both Lenovo Vibe X3 variants rely heavily on audio experience, but are a bit expensive than expected.
