Lenovo becomes the first smartphone manufacturer which moves past ‘Front LED Flash’ to place two camera sensors at the front to further enhance Selfie experience. With Lenovo Vibe S1, which was first showcased at IFA, company is trying to tempt people who fancy snapping themselves every now and then. Above its 5-inch display Lenovo Vibe S1 swanks an 8-megapixel camera alongside a 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor. These two camera captures an image which is rendered into one by the software. The main 8MP camera focus on subject while secondary camera lays more emphasis on measuring depth of field matrix. On-board camera software utilizes information from both sensor and provides option to blur image background post-clicking using a convenient slider.
Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone bears a 5-inch large Full HD IPS display with 441 ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection coating. The display has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and offers wide viewing angle. Under its hood, a powerful 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor ticking at 1.7 GHz runs aggressively to ensure a smooth user experience. MediaTek SoC under gaming stress gets assistance from Mali-T760 GPU and 3GB RAM.
The smartphone runs on Android V.5.0 Lollipop and comes with 32GB ROM with an expansion slot which supports microSD card up to 128GB. Apart from two selfies cameras, the new vibe series device flashes a 13-megapixel camera with dual tone flash at the rear end.
