HTC One M8 Expert Reviews
HTC One (M8) review: One and only
Superb to look at and hold and extremely capable, the HTC One (M8) is a proper flagship smartphone. The development team behind it deserves praise for improving the strengths of the first generation while also addressing some of its biggest shortcomings.
The chipset got an update to Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 801, meaning that the KitKat-topping Sense 6.0 runs as smooth as you'd expect. read more →

The new HTC One M8 review: a great phone, even if no longer a game-changer
The new HTC One M8 is a great smartphone that does a lot of fantastic things. We can tell that the company listened to feedback, focused on areas that needed improvement and added some innovative new features that are actually useful along the way. The new design looks fresh and inviting; the Duo Camera's new abilities are fun and useful (a rare combination, it seems); the performance is fantastic; battery life has improved significantly; the new version of HTC Sense is even better than the last (but please, HTC, don't make "Sixth Sense" a thing, okay?); and the company continues to improve features like Boom Sound and Blink Feed. read more →
- Beautiful all-metal design with brushed-metal finish
- Duo Camera delivers great imagery
- Top of the line performance
- Long battery life
- Motion Launch is a nice touch
- The phone has a slippery feel that makes it difficult to grip
- No enhancements to the display or HTC's UltraPixel technology
HTC One (M8) review

- Beautiful design

- Effective Duo Camera
- Camera poor in bright light
HTC One M8 review
Our first impressions of the new HTC One M8 were all good - we like the tweaked design and we were impressed by the new camera features, the improved speakers and we also like the new Dot View case.
The older HTC One will continue to be sold be the timebeing (presumably at a reduced price), though it will eventually be phased out. read more →
- Stunning build quality
- Nice camera features
- Run like a dream
- Dot View case is frustrating
HTC One M8 Review
The HTC One M8 is every bit as awesome as its predecessor and more. The metal design and larger screen are absolutely gorgeous, and the BoomSound speakers trounce the competition. The new Duo Camera adds some fun to the photo-taking experience, even if the image quality still trails the iPhone 5s. What's more, the new One's longer battery life is a big step forward, as is the phone's overall performance. read more →

- Excellent battery life
