*Pixel 8 Pro - BIG mistakes in India* Bottom line, the processor on the Pixel 8 Pro is marginally faster and the display is much brighter, unnecessarily bright, like the newer iPhones but with a lower resolution. The battery still takes 1 1/2 hrs to charge and the price is ridiculous! OTT. Over 50% percent more in India. I see absolutely no reason to buy it, especially if you have a Pixel 6 Pro which I do have and though it's slow, I am quite happy with it. I like the Pixel's features and aesthetics but... My next phone is going to be an Oppo or a Vivo flagship. They have excellent cameras already (though the Pixel's image processing is way superior as of now, those 2 are just a step behind) I am a photographer, I process on Adobe Lightroom on my phone and I process all photos anyway, any photo can be improved. And I love doing that and can produce excellent results from any flagship except the Samsung S23 Ultra! Another overpriced, overrated phone. I need a more powerful phone with less glitches and fast charging and the Pixel falls very short at the same price as that Samsung. Google think they can behave like Apple but for sure, they are far from that. Check the Pixel camera on a Pro monitor and I guarantee you'll be horrified! A shame the Pixel is not offering enough by way of hardware and worse, they're making huge marketing mistakes here. Sadly, they will fail in India. (0.2% market share as of now! And nothing I see will take that up much.
