The suffix 'Lite' says it all for the newest outing by the China-based smartphone maker. As is obvious, it is a trimmed sown version of Coolpad's Note 5 smartphone and one of the claims doing the rounds is that the phone is, in fact, a rebranded Conjr, that was first unveiled by the company at this year's CES.
The compact phone features a 5-inch HD display, which comes with an added protection of a 2.5D glass on the top, and has a metallic unibody encasing it. from all sides. On the inside, a 1.0GHz MediaTek MT6735CP chipset acts as the powering tool and is helped by a 3GB RAM at that.
The phone is dual-SIM indeed, but has a hybrid SIM slot, meaning yo get to choose between a secondary SIM and a microSD card. The OS in here is Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's customary Cool UI (version 8.0 in this one) on the top.
For photography, there is a 13MP camera on the back capable of recording up to a maximum of 720p videos, whereas up front you can take selfies from its 8MP cam that also has an LED flash.
The inbuilt storage space is 16GB and there is a 2,500mAh removable battery that is entrusted with the job of keeping the Note 5 Lite alive.
The phone has already been launched and will be exclusively available for purchase on E-commerce website Amazon, starting 21st March. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite best price in India has been set at 8,199INR.
