Coolpad Defiant

Coolpad is slowly trying to make its mark in US with its affordable smartphones. After the Coolpad Conjr, the domestic manufacturer has also launched Coolpad Defiant that's a $100 phone that 's exclusive to T-Mobiles and can be purchased on a 2 year $4 per monthly installment. Apart from the Coolpad Defiant's low price, it's only major highlight is Android Nougat software running on it. The handset has a 5-inch display with 854 x 480-pixel resolution and is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM and paltry 8GB storage. It also accepts up to 32GB of microSD storage. Coolpad Defiant Camera hardware includes a 5MP front camera and a 2MP front camera. The phone has a 2450mAh battery that can last for16.5 hours of talk time and up to 288 hours on standby. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, and GPS. The Coolpad Defiance is an entry-level smartphone meant for use as a secondary phone. However, the hardware is very basic and dated and it's hard to recommend this to anyone in mid 2017. The lowest price of Coolpad Defiant is $100 or approx 6,600 INR. It is unlikely to launch in markets beyond US.
