BlackBerry Priv India Price, review & specifications
In their heyday, BlackBerry and Nokia were pioneers in smartphone technology, and many people would associated their crumbling to their stubbornness to steer away from Android. Both tech giants are now planning a resurrection and Android adoption is what they plan on.
BlackBerry will soon launch a peculiar slider phone BlackBerry Priv, which will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop, along with Google’s suit of Apps (No, it won’t be a forked version like Nokia X).
On the inside, BlackBerry Priv includes top of line features and specifications. There is a 5.4 inch display with 1440 x 2560 resolution, fueled by 1.8GHz quad core processor with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and option for 128GB secondary SD card storage.
Reportedly, BlackBerry has included an 18MP rear camera sensor too. The slider is meant to provide QWERTY keyboard experience to long term BlackBerry fans. We do believe that BlackBerry makes some of the best smartphone keyboards, but is a slider the right way to do it? Won’t it make the device chunky and unbalanced? We will have to wait till the year end to find out.
This might be a classic case of ‘Too little too late’ or be the phone that brings long term loyalist return to the platform. We expect consumers will be able to buy BlackBerry Priv Online in India, sooner rather than later, since the Canadian manufacturer has a huge user base in India. When the device is officially launched, you can check back to see our updated analysis and also the BlackBerry Priv lowest price in India.

BlackBerry Priv Review
The BlackBerry Priv is a pretty outstanding attempt at an Android device, but that’s not the problem. I’m more worried about the fact that BlackBerry's introductory Android device costs a little too much for a last-ditch effort.BlackBerry offers something particularly extraordinary that’d make someone consider the Priv over the latest Samsung device. You can buy the phone directly from BlackBerry, but note that it doesn't work on Verizon or Sprint.
But if you did pre-order one, don’t fret: the Priv is actually a pretty decent Android device, even if its slide-out keyboard does take a while to get used to.read more →

- Phone construction is a little flimsy
- Physical keyboard requires a bit of a learning curve
Google Nexus 6P
The Google Nexus 6P is one of the best unlocked smartphones you can buy, thanks to a heady combination of powerhouse hardware, an excellent camera, a reliable fingerprint scanner, and the promise of the latest Android updates.read more →

BlackBerry Priv
The BlackBerry Priv is the mullet of the smartphone world. It's still business in the front, but now there's a party in the back too. It will divide opinion, but this is the best BlackBerry in yearsread more →
- Great screen
- Stock Android
- Added security
- Patchy performance
- Pricier than competition
- Lacks premium build quality
BlackBerry PRIV Review
BlackBerry, as they’re no doubt entering new space with the PRIV. It’s certainly not cheap, putting in the same capacity as some of today’s prized, high-end phones. When we dissect what comes with that cost, it slowly becomes clear that there’s plenty of justification for the PRIV. You get a high-spec’d phone with a physical keyboard, which by itself adds value, and is a rare occurrence in today’s landscape.read more →
- Rich Android experience paired with BlackBerry legendary security
- Svelte looking industrial design for a phone with a keyboard
- Keyboard offers convenience in the form of tactility
- No fingerprint sensor for increased security
- GPS and Bluetooth connections are finicky
- Too much static noise through the earpiece

BlackBerry is Back with a bang!!
Excellent design and now with android, it's guaranteed that performance wise, it gonna be a beast. A bit heavy but qwerty experience will be a convenient option and the so called BlackBerry boys who moved to iPhones and Galaxy NOTEs will take a U turn towards Priv. I am sure it will revive the lost fortunes of once best smart phone maker.
- Good Display
- High pixel density
- Premium design
- Qwerty
- BlackBerry security
- A bit sturdy
